Because this an IP54 certified phone built specifically for harsh usage… your E51 was not. No wonder it died.

By the way, my old Nokia 7610, is an submarine and it´s a really tought phone, you know why I say it, it´s because it fall like a hundred of times in water, and it´s stile alive, and y also hit the phone a lot of times…

Jelly Phony! Hmm, I still wonder how good Nokia phone can take cup of coffee.. My own Nokia E51 stopped working right away. If it can take the jelly, why not coffee?
