I thought that it could read the barcode on the Coca-Cola Can it only read the kind of barcodes in this video? I don’t see that kind of barcodes here..

It can only Read 3D Barcodes, and not conventional 2D Barcodes, this makes it pretty useless, unless you type 3dBarcode generator in google and generate a custom one, and scan it using ur nokia str8 off the computer screen.
It is easier to read for machines. Machines can’t read our font very well (yet). It is the opposite for humans though. We can’t read barcodes, but we can read font. That’s because humans have a very good sense at recognizing symbols (and faces and things), but we’re no so good/fast at arithmetic/logic actions.
