That we still don’t have healthcare in this nation, causing our citizens to suffer needlessly and up to 20,000 a year to die of neglect, is a national disgrace — that we still have a heated conversation about torture and its efficacy is a national outrage, and needs to be rooted out at its dark, sadistic source: which brings us to the topic of the day.
