Seems oil companies are unwilling to risk the vast investment required being seized by Chavez once the oil fields are developed as he has done previously. Sadly, as always, the people of Venezuela and not Hugo Chavez will pay the price! Obama should look upon this as an indication of what is in store for him if he continues upon the path he has chosen!

US general: New strategy needed to defeat Taliban
I read the are bout 4000 bad guys in Afghanistan. this force can substaine it self against a force of up to 100,000 regular soldiers indefinitely ( forever). It is common knowledge that a gorilla force/team of 5 people can drive an army of 50,000 BSC. In the book ART of war a detailed example is given where a small force defeats a force 100 time it sized using gorilla tactics. nothing has changed in 5000 years. You need to realize the bad guys we are fighting also defeated Russia a country that is much more determined and ruthless than the USA. Also remember when they were fighting the Russians they were of buddies many of the were trained in or by us forces.
