Overheating iPhone reports ‘exploding’ all over France, Apple responds
Filed under: Handsets , Apple Reports of iPhones exploding , starting fires and killing people in cold blood have been around since the inception of the handset. They’ve also been relatively sporadic, seemingly short on evidence, and Apple hasn’t given complaints much credence or response

Spotify for iPhone gets thumbs up from Apple, subscription music with offline playlists is a go
Filed under: Handsets , Apple Streaming and subscription music services are a dime a dozen on iPhone, and they seem to get past Apple’s app store approval hurdles with relative ease. But Spotify was one whose fate wasn’t so clear cut, given its offline playlist function — which as the name suggests downloads songs ahead of time for you to listen to when there’s no WiFi or phone service to stream from — could very easily fall into the category of “duplication of core iPhone functionality” and get deep-sixed at the drop of a hat.

Video Problems, need advice
I have a 19 inch. LCD 720p TV and have had it for about 2 years. About 6 months ago I got the YLOD and got a new PS3. Before the YLOD my HDMI broke both on my PS3 and TV for some reason. Now the new PS3 HDMI works fine but the TVs is busted, so I got a component, which pretty much had the same quality. Just today though my TV for some reason couldn’t find the video so I reseted. Worked but then when I turned the TV off and back on it lost the signal including audio. So if I leave it on it keeps the signal turn it off I lose it. ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS ON FIXING THIS OR SHOULD I JUST LEAVE MY TV ON FOREVER? THANKS
