For those that payed for the exchanged PS3 service, so far so good?
My lil brothers got the YLOD in March 09, 7 days later he had his PS3 exchanged with one that literally looked brand new, you can see through the vents(back) and those parts were shining and the shell as well. So far it has been performing good, the BIG TEST happened around June when he had his friends over for the weekend and he played it in the HOTTEST conditions and for the longest time, to the point I was getting scared for the PS3 LOL. But it seems like the big powerful fan did its job and kept the PS3 cool through that, we since put a AC on his room though so he won’t have to deal with hot conditions in his room

Keep the 60 or get the Slim?
I have a 60 GB PS3, but I’m thinking about getting a Slim. The Slim is newer, although I’ve never had a problem with my 60… just that the fans have gotten a little loud lately. Just how quiet is the Slim though
