modem keeps retraining
Good afternoon, I am having constant issues today with the BT connection the router I have is the BT2700HGV The problem I seem to be having; my internet connection drops every 30 seconds for around 15 seconds as the modem seems to try and reconnect. I checked the router and it appeared initially that it could not connect to the ppp authentication server (this happened last week as well during the line upgrade so i though perhaps they are adjusting some settings again) The issue started at 1030 this morning and has been ongoing now for nearly 6 hours but still I am no closer to a root cause.
